I did not write the "anonymous" note web design, but I would like to answer some of your questions from having been in a very similar situation to that of Anonymous.
1) Why would you volunteer there if you are unhappy there? Many reasons search engine marketing. It may be hard for him/her to get to another place to volunteer. S/he may feel that the HSCA desperately needs good volunteers and that the needs of the animals are more important than his/her own unhappiness. Also, HSCA/AHS have HUGE budgets -- over $10 million a year, total. This means that they have tremendous potential to do good if they choose voip. That also makes it even more wrenching when they kill so many animals they would have had the resources to save.
2) Why are you assuming that Anonymous has NOT gone to a volunteer coordinator or manager? Many of us who used to volunteer there did do so many times but were turned away. (See my description below. online payments)
3) If you've walked a dog frequently for several weeks and find it to have a fantastic, sweet temperament and then it is temperament tested and killed, wouldn't you suspect there is something wrong with the testing? What if that happened dozens of times? It did when I was there.
I'm glad that things were good with pitbulls shown at Woodbury. But when you see a wonderful pittie up for adoption there, that doesn't mean that 1) it will actually make it to be adopted, rather than being pulled off the adoption floor and killed; and 2) ten other equally nice pitties weren't killed. I do know that, while I was there, they would pull a pittie off the floor for the most trivial of reasons -- like a young puppy teething. Perhaps it has improved since then. I fervently hope so, but have no evidence of that fact.

I think we have another Sarah Palin on our hands... =D
I do not like the idea of tax credits for healthy people.
